Problems to avoid with article directories.

One thing that you will discover that almost every directory has in common is that they do not allow direct advertising. This means that the only reference you can make to your web site is through the URL in your bio. Of course, this does not mean that these directories will not allow for some promotional as long as it is not direct advertising. Therefore, you cannot place your own Adsense blocks into your articles. Not only is this against Google’s Adsense policy but it is more than likely against the directory’s submission policy as well. There are some times whenever an directory may allow you to use your referrer ID though. This is not against Google’s Adsense policy and it also offers you an opportunity to make some additional money from the article marketing that you are doing.
You should also know that not all directories will allow you to use HTML. This can be a problem if you are using software to submit your articles. However, most sites will allow you 2 versions of the article or of your resource box. Nevertheless, it may be best to submit to sites that accept HTML separately.
